In-line Isolator

An In-line Isolator is an optical device that transmits optical signals in one direction, allowing forward passage of the optical signal while preventing reverse light (e.g. reflected light) from returning to the light source, thus protecting the laser and improving system stability. It is usually integrated directly into the fibre optic link (‘In-line’ design) without the need for additional alignment or complex installation.
